No Fat Lady Singing Yet

I talked to Dr. S a few minutes ago and got some clarification. The three eggs that were delayed fertilization were too immature to ICSI (inserting the sperm into the egg) earlier, but they were coaxing them along to the right stage. When they left the lab they were still trucking along, so we'll wait until tomorrow morning for more news to see if the fertilization took.

Although I'm pretty much without hope right now, I really appreciate you keeping the positive thoughts going and for writing messages. I guess the fat lady hasn't sung yet.

xoxo

  1. Hang in there. Its hard to come up with things to say to help but this IVF place is full of all sorts of weird miracles. Logic doesnt live around here. In fact anti-logic thrives, so on that basis, you must be in some sort of pole position.

  2. Oh honey, I am soooooo praying that those eggs survive the night...please be more hopeful!!! I didn't have any hope either with mine, but they called me back to tell me that one survived. I know that doesn't help your situation any, but I just want you to know that I'm thinking about you and I'm here if you wanna talk. Take care and try to get a good night's sleep:)

  3. I'm not hearing her... not for another 9 months, she can sing when you are holding a little baby in your arms. Will be praying tonight and tomorrow morning, that they catch up, and do what they need to. Let us know!

  4. I hope, hope, HOPE the three slow ones are hanging in there and that all three fertilize and that at LEAST one sticks!

Big hugs to you and put a muzzle on the fat lady!

  5. I am so sorry you are having to go through this crappy "wait-n-see" while having to go through IVF. I KNOW how that feels as we had rough cycles too, but boy I wish that no one else had to experience that.

Thanks for the very nice comments over my way. It means a lot!
