Fungus in the backyard.
Perhaps if I was a mushroom lover I wouldn't mind these popping up in my yard after a couple of days of rain. But, I've just begun to enjoy baby portobellos in a few recipes over the last year.
Yet despite my disgust of this huge fungus pictured to the left, I find myself amazed that in three days this big guy went from nothing to almost as big as my hand.
Listen up follicles and E2 level, this is what I expect of you over the next two weeks. No slacking on the job this time. Make like a mushroom, but please, no fungus.

I looooove mushrooms! I have a great recipe for portobella burgers. Double delicious! When you're ready to eat a whole portobella, let me know and I'll send it to you. It's looking like our cycles are going to be on the same timeline-I start shots on Wednesday now. Twinsys! Maybe it's a sign of what's to come, right? Maybe we should do our shots at the same time, wear the same good luck socks, and well, you get the point.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, loved your "make like a mushroom" line. Classic. It made roll on the floor laughing my ass off. Well, really I laughed out loud. ;D
Have a great night!
Wow huge mushrooms!I also love mushrooms, yummy. I hope your stimmimg goes smoothly and your eggs grow and grow. That is awesome that you and ASP will be cycle sistas. I also love the mushroom line! hilarious.
ReplyDeleteYuck for mushrooms, about the only thing I don't eat. Something about growing in poo just doesn't sit right...
ReplyDeleteYay for "grow like mushrooms" though, I'll give them that, they are great sprouters :-)
