Stick a Needle in It

No, I'm not so much into funky piercings. I'm digging the auricular acupuncture!

  1. lol. It doesn't really hurt at all. On my right ear, I don't feel any pain at all because the needles are so little. However, I do get a rippling tingle that runs down my arm when he puts them in. On my left ear, I feel some sharp little pains. This ear also tends to bleed for a second or two when they pull them out. It must be the side that needs more work!

  2. ok, even though i've been going to acupuncture for nearly 2 months now, I've never had the guts to actually look. So suffice it to say, that photo Freaks. Me. Out. Is that really what I look like? Sheesh.

I still heart acupuncture though, but only with my eyes closed.

  3. Wow! What does ocular acupuncture do? How is it helpful to have it in your ear? (I've never had to!)

  6. OWW! That looks painful, not relaxing. Like yoga to me, only worse. Yoga is supposed to relieve stress, but for me it is stressFUL (it hurts my wrists). Those needles look bigger than I imagined acupuncture needles being. YIKES!!

  7. Too Cool! I've been doing acupuncture weekly for the past year but she has never placed any needles in my ear. I love the picture.

  8. Oh how I remember those! Wasn't a big fan of the ones that were stuck right in the middle, but they did wonders for my nausea from taking estrogen.

  9. That looks like it hurts. I've always wanted to try accupuncture, but haven't had the nerve to yet.

  10. ooh - the circle one hanging from your ear is something that looks new and exciting in the world of acupuncture! Does that work like a dream catcher? :)
