The deed.

*Don't read this dad!

Okay, so my hubby and I finally after seventeen weeks of being pregnant + three weeks of being in California for treatment without him--did the deed. We've been way too nervous to think about it before now. We were so relieved that our little pumpkin was apparently undisturbed by the adventure.

As a side-note, I've been banned by my Dad and Fairyeggs from calling the baby Caligula...so I guess we're back to pumpkin. :)

  1. Yay! Pregnant sex! You have arrived! ;-)

Oh, and I'm sorry I'm late in my vote, but my gut says it's a girl (all that pixie fairy dust!).

Thanks for your always sweet comments on my blog, Cini - you are a most wonderful blog sister!

    Love,
    Maddy

  7. Yippeee!!!!! The next several weeks may be the only time you can have uninteruppted relations for a really long time. Live it up! By the way, thank you for refraining from calling sweet baby pumpkin Caligula!!

  8. Wow! There's no way I'd have made it even close to that long - like others have said, enjoy it (the belly will be in the way soon!).

  9. V is a good man... but you already knew that! :) It's sorta like a deployment, you make it that long (or longer)... but he's not in bed with you either- hmm, that does lead to more temptation having him close! I like you little one being a pumpkin, because, I know that my pumpkin is watching over them!

  12. We were on 'pelvic rest' for the first tri and although I was totally okay with this (cuz I felt like crap)...you would think the world was coming to an end for DH. I'm still super paranoid and insist on listening to the hb before and after "the deed" so that if anything goes wrong I can totally blame it on DH's rediculous drive!!!! But...so far...baby is fine.

The deed is good.....do the deed as much as possible....in a few months you will be too tired to remember the deed....Sidenote: I have a theory that has proven true through 2 nephews, 2 nieces, and 2 daughters.....if you have no sex drive-its a girl. If you can't get enough: its a boy. Food for thought!

  15. I agree with Maddy, you have defintely hit a milestone here and you have arrived!!!

PS and I can't wait till the day that your ticker says that your pumpkin baby is the size of an actual pumpkin. For some reason I have a complete obsession with your ticker I always try and guess what fruit/vegie is next.
