Belly Pix

For comparison:

11 weeks 5 days

18 weeks

21 weeks in hotel where we couldn't get a whole body shot!

23 weeks

Weight: +10 pounds total....gain since last appointment: ZERO! The doctor's scale said I actually lost a pound or two on my trip up here. With non stop eating out, I feel like I've gained fifteen pounds. So today was a delightful surprise!

Blood pressure: 117/75 today...woo hoo!

Clothes: maternity jeans, regular comfy athletic pants, maternity shirts with regular tank top underneath + the ever present hoodie since it can be chilly up here in Alaska!

Cravings: Still really love salad with ranch dressing, nectarines, mexican food, eggs

Actual Eating: Nectarines, apples, potato salad with boiled egg whites added, shredded wheat, yogurt, strawberry ice cream, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and ramen (possibly the worst food in the world but since I'm stuck in a hotel room...)...plus our one meal a day that we typically eat out at Q.doba, a local mexican restaurant, Out.back, McDs (hang head in shame) or wherever I can get a good salad! I can't wait to have a kitchen again!

Move Status: Just finished the inspection on our house, waiting for appraiser, hoping to close by Aug 3. Refrigerator purchased. Windows measured for blinds. Fence estimate tomorrow.

Stretch Marks: I haven't spotted any but I'm on the lookout!

Baby Name Status: Need middle name!

Love to all who read. Hope to my friends who are TTC.

xoxo

  1. I feel like there's a weird optical illusion going on with your shirt at 23 weeks, but you look smaller. Glad all is well. Good luck with your house closing!

  2. ugh... wish I had to 'pick' a middle name... its going to be dubbed... William... everyone is william, Roger Willima (grandpa), Gregory Willima (dad), Travis William (my love), so mine is william... Glad that things are progressing on the house, will it be finished by the 3rd? Love the pictures you sent-thanks!

  10. Sounds like things are going very well. love seeing the pics. No need to hang head in shame at McD's...you eat what you want to eat...when and where you want to eat, enjoy this while it lasts. And as long as you don't overdo it, you'll be just fine. Hope you're in your new place, soon!

  15. You look wonderful! Isn't it so much fun to look back at the belly pics and see how much you've progressed in just a matter of a few weeks!!

I saw your blog on someone's blogroll and the title immediately caught my attention! I used to always joke that I got knocked up by my RE, because technically that's how it happened. Our 1st set of twins were conceived on our 3rd IVF cycle via DE as well. Dare I mention that our 2nd set of twins were a complete surprise?? So much for a 1-3% chance of ever conceiving with my own eggs.
